Cooking with Children: recommended cookware and utensils for kids

I have always found that if I get my children involved in cooking, then they always seem to eat the meals with more vigour and gusto - resulting in more clean plates! One way to encourage them, is to provide them with their own cooking utensils.

Getting your kids involved in cooking can be difficult, especially when the electronic buttons have far more interest. Or you can have the opposite problem of not getting them involved when you are in a hurry. As sometimes cooking with kids really can be too many cooks in the kitchen! Whichever of these you may come across, it is worth persevering. My kids now even check to see what is on the 'menu' to see how much they can help with!
