Hi there,
My name is Sue and I have 6 children, boy age 17, boy age 14, girl aged 10 (going on 18!) my girl/boy twins age 3 1/2 and my girl age 21 months. My older kids are quite good but my little boy (twin) will hardly eat anything. I have tried asking him what he would like but then he still wont eat it. All he will eat is cereal and noodles. If he doesnt like the look of it he wont even try it. He is a very slight boy (they were prem babies) his twin sister is bigger. Every meal time is the same and I dread that time of day. Any ideas anyone? I could really do with some help. TIA. |

Hi Sue and
to Meals for Kids!!You have certainly got your hands full at home, I take my hat off to you ![]() I hope you have had a chance to take a look round the forum which may have given you some ideas on how to tackle your 'fussy eater'. There are a few threads, including this one or this one which may be of use to you. I particularly like the tip on having a 'certain number of bites' rule, maybe 3 as your son is 3, and maybe no pudding until he has managed that, encouraging him to try new things!?!? I'm sure you've tried most things and you're clearly an experienced mum so I hope you find something that works soon so that mealtimes can stop being a battle zone for you all. Good luck Tammy ![]() |
